Conservatives are sometimes "one-issue" people. I do think it's important to avoid closing one eye to reality, but all issues are NOT the same. Yes, we should be concerned about social justice and the slave trade and world health issues...but that doesn't mean we should whitewash the 'old' issues.
If you're like me, you sometimes wish that the music behind those great worship lyrics was a little more...well, inspiring. Look no further! Plagues of Xodus presents Death Metal Worship!
A recent study says that 1 in 4 teenage girls have a sexually-transmitted disease. Yes, you read that right. About half of the girls aged 14-19 surveyed admitted to having had sex. In that group, 40% had an STD. In a survey that tested for only four diseases, that's an alarming statistic.
We've been trying to figure out where life comes from for a long time. Aristotle wanted to know. Darwin and Pasteur wanted to know. Seems like everyone wants to know how life on Earth came to be.
A common argument among atheists and the irreligious is that the Ten Commandments doesn't belong in our courthouses. Some say that having the Ten Commandments posted there gives an implicit recommendation of one religion over all others.
Gianna Jessen was just a baby when her mother decided to kill her. Because she weighed only two pounds, she was unable to defend herself from her much-larger mother. Her muscles hadn't developed to the point where she could run away from her attacker. She almost died.

Many of you know that Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter Maria died tragically a few months ago. Recently, Steven Curtis and his wife Mary Beth appeared on Good Morning, America. Here's the 8-minute interview, where the family talks about grief and about supporting each other.
Andrew Peterson is one of my very favoritist artists. Using only words - the same kinds of words I use - Andrew can create a picture that tells a story like very few songwriters can. Today's video turns the tables.
Bad People. That's how a 61 year-old woman described her neighbors, the Los Angeles Scientologists. In an attempt to avoid being picketed, they got permits to close the sidewalks around their offices. This lady, without knowing it, demonstrates clearly how militant some Scientologists can be.
Bible skeptics sometimes like to point out the fact that the fulfillment of a prophecy always comes after the prophecy itself, giving 'true believers' plenty of opportunity to make the prophecies come true. There are a couple of problems with this kind of reasoning:
Some have erroneously asserted that God is dead. Many who believe that have also lumped apologetics and theology into the same category. They might be surprised that there's a resurgence of both in the Western world.
